Overview

I didn’t want to talk about how I think. I wanted to show it.

As part of an interview with Landry’s, I designed and prototyped a fully interactive mobile app experience for Landry’s Seafood. The goal was simple. Extend the restaurant experience beyond the table and into something customers could carry with them.

Built in Adobe XD, the prototype walks through key moments from discovery to dining, focusing on clarity, speed, and brand feel.

The Thinking

Restaurants are physical experiences. But most customer decisions happen before someone walks in the door.

This concept focused on:

  • Reducing friction in finding and choosing a location
  • Making reservations feel effortless
  • Bringing the menu to life in a way that reflects the in-restaurant experience
  • Creating continuity between digital and physical touchpoints

The Experience

The prototype was built as a visual demo.

  • Browse locations and explore nearby options
  • View menus with a focus on readability and appetite appeal
  • Make reservations through a simplified flow
  • Navigate a clean, brand-aligned interface designed for real use
